Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9th, 1965)[1] is an American actor from America. Her roles include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla, mother to Selena, in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez's character in ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently playing Camila Diaz, the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie began acting in her teens. In 1988 she scored her first role in Salsa. Other credits on television and film include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected for the role as Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the lead in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She also appeared on the set of the PBS drama American Family. She introduced her clothing line "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. She was also in an ad campaign for PETA that year encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their animals. 3 Marie was the main character in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform from 2011 until 2017. She was Regina Vasquez (the birth mother of one and the legal mother of another).
