Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on the 24th of April, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American performer, songwriter and TV host. In 2002, she won the American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas) and is an area near Fort Worth. Her vocal talent was recognized at seven years old by the choir teacher of her school. After graduating from high school, Clarkson moved in Los Angeles, where she unsuccessfully tried to break into the show business. When she returned in Texas in 2002, she took part in the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing competition let viewers decide which singer they liked best. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's arresting vocals, charisma and sense of humour. Clarkson's prize was one million dollars and she signed a recording contract with RCA.
