Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a standout contemporary artist due to her soprano voice and talent for creating songs that are engaging and emotional. Her style is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians of the same ilk. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major recording deal.
