Sharp was born at home in Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello as well as piano. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre program at the school. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. Sharp played in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp's other theatre appearances include Abyssinia and Aida. Sharp has been working on both the screen and on stage is currently involved in a variety of original projects. Sharp is working on her first full-length album for studio work. When she's not working the front or behind the camera or in the studio recording songs, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in shape boxing and studying Krav Maga.. She is also a piano player, hiking and long roadstrips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
