Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist, actress and musician. She works primarily as musician and performer for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam which was followed by her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as a lawyer for the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai went to National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began studying classical piano at age eight. She was an avid geek who wanted to become psychiatrist. By the age of 10, she was in a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. Additionally, she worked as a stage performer during college. She also served as the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's stage career started by performing with actor Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a brand new advertisement for Leo together with actor Shiva. In 2006, she starred in a television series which was broadcast on Podhigai. The actress has also appeared as a character in India. There was a brief appearance in the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is married and mother with whom her husband has a love affair. Andrea was cast in the role following Simran and Tabu both actresses were approached by the producers. The film was released during the first half of 2010.
